It's been a full summer — beach engagements, backyard elopements, and a few surprise proposals that had me absolutely losing it behind the lens. Every session has been different, every couple has brought something unique, and I have been so grateful for every single one. If you've been thinking about booking — now is the time. Fall sessions are already filling up and golden hour in Tampa Bay this time of year is absolutely unreal.

People always imagine photographers just showing up and clicking away. The reality? Scouting locations the week before, responding to emails at midnight, prepping shot lists, and somehow eating lunch in between. On shoot day I'm usually at the location 30 minutes early, watching the light shift and figuring out the best angles before my clients even arrive.

And then they show up — nervous, excited, maybe a little awkward in front of the camera — and that's my favorite part. The next two hours are all about connection, laughter, and creating something real. That's the part no one sees. That's why I do this.

Someone asked me recently what made me pick up a camera in the first place. The honest answer? I wanted to make people feel seen. Not just photographed — actually seen. There's something so powerful about looking at a photo of yourself and thinking "that's really me." Not a posed version, not a forced smile — just you, in a real moment, captured forever.

Five years later, that's still the whole point. Every session, every couple, every portrait — it's all in service of that one feeling. I'll never stop chasing it.
